Simple Chicken Soup

  • Chicken
  • 1 Whole Onion
  • 5 Carrots
  • 4 Corn on the Cob
  • 1 Zucchini
  • Seasonings
  • Chicken Stock

Instructions

This simple chicken soup is very versatile and adaptable to your taste. Start with a large soup pot fill it up half-way with water. Get the pot on a medium heat for boiling, add chicken pieces of your choice. Whole with bones or without, the chicken I used while writing this recipe was drumsticks.

Cut the carrots in half and in about 1inch pieces. Cut a large onion in half. Let chicken boil about an hour then add the carrots and onion.

When chicken is starting to get tender and fall apart add the corn on the cobs cut in half, zucchini quartered in 1inch pieces, chicken stock, and seasonings of your choice. You could chicken stock or the seasonings if you like it plain. Seasonings could be italian seasoning or just oregano to your favorite blend of flavors.
