Alfredo Sauce 1
- 2C. Heavy Cream
- 5Tbsp Butter
- 1¼C. Grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
- ⅛tsp Ground Nutmeg
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Add butter to a sauce pan and melt it with medium heat. Once butter is sizzling a little bit add cream and nutmeg to the sauce pan. Mix and bring to a simmer.
Add cheese a little at a time as the cream comes to a simmer. Whisk well to combine.
Lower the heat and continue whisking until cheese has melted and sauce thickens.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
